NECA offers two types of membership, depending on your type of work:
- Ordinary Membership
- Service Membership
Ordinary Membership
If your principal business is on a full time basis carrying out of one of the following:
- Electrical installations
- Alterations
- Additions and repairs to electrical installations
- Machinery
- Apparatus
- Equipment
- Accessories
- Communications
- Security installations
- Air conditioning and refrigeration work
And you are also a holder of one of an Electrical Contractor’s License in:
- Electrical Contractor
- Communications
- Master Security
- Air conditioning and refrigeration
Service Membership
If you are an individual, sole trader, partnership, company or other legal entity carrying on a bona fide business actively engaged in any section of the electrical industry interpreted in its broadest sense which does not fully comply with the definition of an Ordinary Member.
