Apprentice of the Year 2011
The New South Wales NECA Apprentice Awards were announced at the NECA Excellence Awards Luncheon held on the 23 September 2011 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This year, NECA introduced a new apprentice award. The NECA Apprentice Achievement Award has been established to recognise apprentices who have demonstrated significant achievement in academic and/or workplace activities.

The Commercial/Domestic apprentice winners were:
• 1st Place – Hugh Jacobsen
• 2nd Place – Wayne Evans
• 3rd Place – Jonathon Patchett
