Fair Work Act 

The Federal Government's Fair Work Act 2009 commenced operation on 1st July 2009. This legislation is the successor to the previous government's WorkChoices Legislation.

The new Act is extremely important as it will apply to virtually every business. It is important that members have an understanding of how the new laws operate. For assistance contact the NECA's Industrial Relations Department on 02 9744 1099.
